Havasuhunter Report post Posted January 26, 2015 British Petroleum is after oil! Wrong BP? Just kidding. Amazing the amount of tax money that can be spent all the while making no progress on actual border security.
10Turkeys Report post Posted January 26, 2015 That definetly is indeed a C-130 Hercules, scenario number one, a rumor was going around about fresh donuts in the area so the BP decided to take an Airborne qualified person and make a HALO jump into the area and then to have the other agents (that is more than one) that have been driving their vehicles like they are training for the Baja 500 to go and fetch the donuts since apparently they don't care to much for going after drug runners. Second scenario is that one of the agents found an illegal that was a babe, and the rest of them were looking for her, ever notice how many law enforcement vehicles are at the scene when a hottie is pulled over? Looks like they are making an arrest on the felon from the 10 most wanted list.
lancetkenyon Report post Posted January 26, 2015 No love lost for the CBP on this site? Or LEOs for that matter? What gives? Much respect for LEOs/military here in my household. Try walking in their shoes for a month, it is a thankless tough job.
WampusCat Report post Posted January 26, 2015 First CBP and now cops, as soon as they start bashing the AZGF they will have completed the elusive trifecta. HALO + low flying bird = lawn dart!

border hunter Report post Posted January 29, 2015 Simple suggestions, if you don't like having BP or planes/helicopter ruining your hunt don't hunt by the border. Plus it's not safe and there are no deer.

idgaf Report post Posted January 30, 2015 I was not going to respond anymore with some of the posters I would have to reduce syllable usage. However, a few points on contention. I believe Halo stands for "high altitude low opening" these guys were buzzing treetops. reference my brother was a recon marine in the late 90's and he would tell me of some his exploits. Secondly, we were to close to the border it wouldn't be donuts it would be Conchas. I do not think fear was ever mentioned as a matter of fact I believed I mentioned that this area is the safest it has been in twenty years. Immigration right now is in lull for the area. Border Patrol is doing a GREAT job. Also, if anyone does not question cost issues obviously still lives at home with their parents or has never had to answer to a boss/wife on return on investment or has a government job that has an unlimited budget and spending way to much tax money. One of the gentlemen on the site set me straight on what the plane was.
