couesfreak23 Report post Posted January 24, 2015 Looking for some help on choosing from these two binoculars for coues hunting. Anyone have any experience with these to share. Leaning towards Razor due to weight and fov but hoping you guys could help me to see which would benefit me the most
Maverick351 Report post Posted January 24, 2015 My personal opinion is the 12x50 razor hands down. You lose very little magnification but you gain clarity and a lightweight more compact bino
StripBucks Report post Posted January 25, 2015 When you decide let me know and I will get you a price on both them, they are both great binos, but the biggest advantage to the Razors is that you can still use them hand held. couesfreak23 Report post Posted January 26, 2015 Appreciate feedback read an article talking about how 12 power binoculars are as good as 15 power binoculars due to brighter and clearer images they produce. + fov
Maverick351 Report post Posted January 27, 2015 Honestly I'm fortunate enough to be able to have had BOTH on tripods in the field (not a parking lot) for comparison. Since that day I've recommended the razor over anything else. I personally will be buying them at tax time.

twigsnapper Report post Posted January 28, 2015 I've owned both. Razors over the kaibabs all day. Don't overlook the cabelas euro HD 12x50. Better then the razor for sure but quite a bit heavier.
lancetkenyon Report post Posted January 28, 2015 I would go less magnification and better glass all day long.
Willyhunts2 Report post Posted January 29, 2015 I've looked thru both while out hunting. Ended up with the razors and it was an easy choice. Light, clear, and I like the 12x50's because they are good for tripods and also to take a fast look at something without being to shaky.
