Lifetime license

Recommended Posts

I've finally convinced myself to purchase a lifetime license. Well, I'm "this" close anyways...lol

Since this is a permanent license, one scenario crossed my mind. For example, let's say I sell my house and move to Chandler next year. Now my address on the license won't match my new address. When I apply for hunts online, my address always fills in automatically once I enter my license number. There will now be a discrepancy between the license and the application. Is this an issue? Or does it even matter?

I've never seen a lifetime license, so not sure what info is on there, but I tend to overthink a lot of things.... :)

ive had a lifetime combo license for 17 yrs. I have never moved sense I got it from my wife & kids for Christmas. what I can tell you, & I don't know why it is this way, the online system dosent remember my lifetime license number. I have to enter it every year on every draw. on my license there is no address listed. I think you will be fine editing your address if you move.

Ok, thanks. That's good to hear. Just got into a higher age group to lessen my cost! One good thing about getting older I guess! :)

I have had one for about 14 years now. The address is not printed on the license and you can update your address when applying for the draw. I have moved about 8 times since I've had it. No worries at all, good luck and well worth the dough if you have it!

I just bought one for my Christmas present this year. We are moving to Idaho and I couldn't bear the thought of never hunting my favorite AZ spots again. Now I can at least put in for the harder tags to draw every year for free instead of dropping the cash for an out of state license I wouldn't use if I didn't draw.

Dang Vowell 14 years already!? Getting your moneys worth!

Looks like I know what I want for my 30th Birthday.

Yea I think I paid like $1000 for it, so it's half way paid off. Plus they grandfathered some extra stamps in it like the Colorado river stamp since the new lifetime combo structure came out!

I think the online app only populates your address if you buy license online...not sure, but my observation from entering apps for our group. Is it also true that the lifetime license counts as a resident license even if you move out of state?
