knothead Report post Posted February 8, 2015 You just never know. My 10 year old daughter drew unit 5b back in 2004 and all she had was her hunter safety point. Only 5 tags issued and she drew tag #1. She shot a 79 inch buck on 3rd day There was a picture in the flagstaff office with her and her antelope for years but not sure if it is still there. She glassed and walked her tail off and never complained a single time. Definitely one of my best hunts to be a part of. She has not drawn since. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

However this year I about had a heart attack when I checked my credit card and found a pending charge for $90! Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I would pull a goat tag with only 5 points! I really think this draw system is more about luck then bonus points! GJMauro12 Report post Posted March 21, 2015 My Grandpa drew with 17 points in 2011. My brother drew with 9 points in 2012. I'm sitting on 16 and feel like it's gonna happen soon. Just gotta get lucky. I drew my goat tag this year with the 16! For some reason I just had a feeling this was my year. I have posted that I've drawn a goat tag on a couple threads already!
