Went out today to help my son and friends try and fill their Javi tag, 4th mule deer buck did not elude me...63 yds shot about 3/4 mile track/recovery... very few drops of blood, luckily the ground was soft and I could follow his tracks, hit one lung but bled inside...entire cavity was full of blood. 2015 done! Glasses this buck up on the last hill of the day that we where going to look at, let everyone look at it, said well I am going to walk up there and see what happens....made my way through Palo Verdes.... to my surprise he stayed frozen watching me, but I don't think he could see me so well since the trees were blocking me, got to 63 yds and let it fly...still can't believe it. Greatest thing is we had a 10 year old with us and he absolutely tracked the blood trail single handedly, he would find small specs of blood....
