azhuntnut Report post Posted January 1, 2015 After skipping two years of pig hunting because of injuries, I was excited to get out this morning for pig season. We were headed to one of our spots when I spotted this pig all alone. I put a fast a stalk on him and smoked him with a grave digger broad head at 28 yards. One of the expandable blades nicked the spine going in and he dropped in his tracks. I found a hole in one lung and clipped the other. Check out those feet. I found out years ago from a game and fish office that said it is caused by animals eating vegetation with to much protein. Where I was hunting has lots of high protein alfalfa.
