111 Report post Posted March 28, 2007 Monty I got video of that bull!!! If I knew how to copy from a video and post a pic that would be cool. The other side looks about the same if you find it!!
azhuntnut Report post Posted March 28, 2007 I also have some video of a big 5x5 from 2005. He wasn't that big at the time though. It was the biggest 5x5 I had ever seen. Have you tried putting a number on the horn? David
COOSEFAN Report post Posted March 28, 2007 I'm gonna say that isn't the same bull.........the G2 is different and I think the G4 is shorter on the live bull, the G3 looks like it has a slight hook forward close to the tip and not the same on the shed. Also, look how fast the beam turns down after the G4 on the shed, now look at the live bull........I think they are different but without a doubt related. My $.02. GRONG Report post Posted March 28, 2007 Yup Jim, not the match. Sorry Mike! Way similar though!!! I've bought many sheds from 9 around Red Butte over the years that look way similar. Most were in the 320-340" class as 5pts. I don't know where this one came from but probably nearby would be my guess, not that it matters really. Nice shed! After I posted the photo I realized something didn't seem right either. I thought maybe if we switched the antlers on the live bull it would resemble the shed a lot more. Either way a great shed and it's kinda scary there's more than one of these five points running around. It sure did look impressive in the meadow with the long thirds and nice whale tails. Monty he might want to hang onto that shed forever, you don't come across those everyday!
