John7979 Report post Posted December 25, 2014 Hey guy, I have been hunting my rump off in 28 from Hooker's Gap all the way to Mocho Tanks for the last 2 weeks on foot and glassing both every single canyon and draw and nothing. Literally 50 plus miles thru that rough stuff and only found where a few elk jumped the fence last week but already back in the res. Anybody have any different areas to check? I keep hearing about Bar X Ranch, O/O Ranch, up on top by Riggs Lake and Bonita, but those are big areas and only a few days to get it done:( Is there any certain areas I should check? I'd be just tickled with a cow at this point as I need to fill the freezer and only a few days left to get it done! Any ranchers need a elk taken off their property?
