PRDATR Report post Posted December 26, 2014 For the past 15 years my buddy and I always do a New Year's Day quail hunt. One year, I remember we got up super early grabbed our gear and headed out to 36A off of Sasabe Hwy, got out and instantly heard quail clucking/calling. Gonna be a good day, right. As I grab my gun case and start to pull it out I let out the loudest expletive ever.....it was my 300 win mag. Loaded back up & drove back to Tucson and then proceeded to 37A. Day ended well, as do they all when you are out hunting for whatever. My nephew texted me a week or so ago saying my BIL had just called him to say he drove Upstate from Long Island to go deer hunting and when he got there he opened his gun case only to see his shotgun. He and I got a pretty good chuckle over that.
firstcoueswas110 Report post Posted December 26, 2014 that feeling when, cant hunt on Christmas because youre meeting your family at your Obama voting liberal aunts house that's on the other side of the valley. fml Pics of liberal aunt? you would probably smash like the hammer of thor, you sick sob. I wouldn't trade Christmas morning with my family for the pursuit of a 200" mule deer. id take the 200" and show up late. but i dont have kids.
ThomC Report post Posted December 26, 2014 What is worse is getting home and finding your gun case empty. My Buddy left a Browning Double Auto on the ground where we were hunting. We went back and it was gone. Never have been able to hunt any holidays except New Years and my Birthday.

Snapshot Report post Posted December 26, 2014 that feeling when, cant hunt on Christmas because youre meeting your family at your Obama voting liberal aunts house that's on the other side of the valley. fml I disowned all my Obama voting relatives. I don't hunt on Christmas day, but Imagine it would be a good day for solitude in the outdoors.
