Got my Colorado muzzle loader back from Wildlife Design. I had Becker and Chris send out my buck to have the velvet put back on. Came out a little darker than the original velvet, but when I shot this buck, the velvet was about dead.

cool looking. Ive been contemplating having the velvet redone on one of my early season mounts. Does it look real enough?

There really is no comparison to the real stuff. It does look fake but it is real enough to bring back some idea what the buck looked like when I shot it. I like the mass all the way to the tips and brings back memories of seeing bucks with their perfect velvet. This buck was no where near perfect when I shot him so this is more like what he looked like in August.

Thanks. I was blessed to have a pretty good year. Probably something I will never have the chance to do again.
