WFGinNM Report post Posted March 24, 2007 Anybody here use Steiner Predators? I was wonder if anyone has any pro's and con's. I didn't see them offered at Camerland, and wonder why there was not much when I did a search. Thanks, --Bill

I bought them for my dad a few years ago, the 12x50s, and he loves em. they are durable and very sharp and clear. For the money, they are terrific. darren

WFGinNM Report post Posted March 27, 2007 Thanks guys, I'd love some Swaro's but I think the weight and power of the 12X50's would suit me alright. Now to go sell some antlers to pay for them. --Bill
elmergoo Report post Posted March 28, 2007 WFGinNM I purchased a pair of 12x50's Predators and feel it was the best purchase for me.What attracted me to them first was the eye-cups that are cut to form around my eyes that other manufactuers don't have, thus blocking out the light. Then the weight, super light, lifetime warranty, and I felt better carrying one pair of high quality 12x50's instead of two pair at different maginification.I did a net search and got a smoking deal. For under a grand I got all Steiner products including the suspension system, tri-pod adaptor, lens-pen,cushioned neck strap, one carring case for just the bino's, and one big bag, like a total video optics bag that alone retails for over 100.00. All STeiner and all German quality.Do a search thru bino.com for the best deals. The Predators line is supposed to highlight the grey's and red's and null the green's. Bottom line I love them. Good luck and you won't be dissipointed.
