Vortex Vultures 15x56 HD's

Recommended Posts

Guest wdenike

If they are the 15x58 minox i think they are pretty similar, kaibabs are definitely not any better. I have had both and also swaro 15's and 12's. The minox 58 and kaibabs are about equal and swaro 15's slightly better but not by much.

UH OH!!!!! Now YA did it Joe. ( SLIGHTLY BETTER BUT NOT BY MUCH ) Shortly the owners of the green JEWELS will be along to tell YA how absolutely dead wrong YA are. Because when YA look through them JEWELLS they grow game, and trophies at that. ROFLMAO

O.P. Them Vultures ain't to shabby!!!! And you will have one other dilema. If ya ever get them jewels. Don't dare think ya can haul them in a Eberlestock, or heaven forbid a badlands pack. They require a Kiu, Mystery Ranch, or at the least an Outdoorsmen Pack. Or they will leap out, go on strike, and refuse to go to the mountain.

Take care,Willie

Yes those are the better ones. Supposedly the 2015 minox 15x56 are made in germany again and slightly better than the old 15x58. The minox 15x56 that came out when they discontinued the 58's were very unimpressive binos.

I have a buddy that has the 15x58 Minox and I had the Kaibabs, we looked through them side by side on tripods several times and we both agreed that the Minox were better. I have the Zeiss 15x56 now and love them. I still have my old Minox 13x56 that I have had for years and I like them better than the Kaibabs also. I have not looked through the Minox 15x56.
