I'm sure the devils enjoyed the game on TV. After getting spanked at home with no bowl chances, that is.

Arizona to play Boise State in Fiesta BowlPosted: Dec 07, 2014 10:52 AM Updated: Dec 07, 2014 12:57 PM
By Scott Coleman

Tucson, AZ -

Arizona will face Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl on Dec. 31, 2014, the College Football Selection Committee announced Sunday. The game will be played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz.

Arizona finished the regular season with a 10-3 record, picking up wins over Playoff-bound Oregon, as well as Arizona State, Utah and Washington. The 'Cats fell to the Ducks in a rematch on Friday, though the selection committee did not punish UA too much, dropping them from No. 7 to No. 10 in the rankings.

This will be Arizona's first Fiesta Bowl appearance since 1993.

Boise State finished the season with an 11-2 record in coach Bryan Harsin's first year atop the program. The Broncos went to the Fiesta Bowl in 2007 and 2010, winning both games. Boise State has won its last eight games since losing to Air Force in late September.

The first-ever College Football Playoff Rankings: Alabama, Oregon, Florida State and Ohio State. Baylor and TCU were left on the outside looking in.
