This pack is 3 years old and has packed out a bunch of coues deer and elk. Has a few blood stains but has been cleaned after each use. I have gone to a different system and this is taking up space.. Structurally great. $200.00 Thanks for looking. FYI...this pack will carry more than this fat boy cares to.

Side question as I have this pack and your it super bloody today....how do you wash it?

Arm and hammer washing soda. Mix to paste and scrub with soft brush. Spray off with pressure washer and hang dry.

I do the same plus I soak it in the bath tub.

I hose mine out, wash with hunting laundry soap, rinse with hose, hang dry. Just bought my Eberlestock pack in October, and luckily, I have already washed blood out of it twice!!!

After you wash and dry your pack spray it with Silicone Water Guard or Scotchguard Outdoor. Both products can be found at Walmart. Since I used the silicone spray on my Eberlestock X2 prior to the first use it is easy to clean with just plain water and a soft brush if the blood is relatively fresh. Otherwise the baking soda paste does the job. I spray one coat and let the pack dry and then spray a 2nd coat. This lasts a year. I wash and recoat in the summer when everything dries quickly.
