goatsie Report post Posted December 2, 2014 My father-in-law has a Smith and Wesson 38 special that was his father's which is currently not functioning. I want to get it up and running for him as a birthday present. Are there any gunsmiths in the valley who specialize with classic handguns? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Mike S Report post Posted December 2, 2014 I haven't had him do any work in a long time, so I'd call him. He has been at the same location for 30 years or so and definitely knows his business.

Swivelhead Report post Posted December 10, 2014 Nelson also does some real nice work on 1911's. He did a custom for me many years ago, shoots way better than I do.
