archery_hunter33 Report post Posted November 24, 2014 I returned from Germany in September to late to hunt archery season here in AZ. Fortunately I was able to pick up a left over November rifle tag. My 14 year old son filled his youth tag last weekend with a nice 3x4 Muley. With his hunt over he was excited to help me hunt for Coues deer. He was a huge help this year and it was awesome to have him with me when I shot my deer. We spotted a group of buck from over 1000 yards and watched them bed down. We made our move and closed the distance to 185 yards where I made an awesome heart shot. Can you guys guess the score? The last picture is my sons buck compared to mine.

bigorange Report post Posted November 25, 2014 Nice couple of bucks! And an excellent welcome home. Love the typical muley and all the character on the coues. I've thought about putting in for a hunt on post, but have never tried to wade through the rules and paperwork. This post may have pushed me over the edge to look into it more seriously for next year...
