I have another Eberlestock pack that I love, and wanted to pick one up for my 12 year old daughter. She now is the proud owner of an X2 pack. I will probably use it on occasion as well. They are VERY adjustable. she is on the petite side (about 4'10" and 70#), and it fits her with everything tightened down as far as it will go. I also tried it on (I am 5'7" and 155#). Plenty of growth available for a bigger guy than me. We dropped two gallon water jugs in it when she was trying it on to add a little weight (17+ #), and she was very comfortable. Combo internal frame with an aluminum additional exterior frame to help stiffen and spread weight. Lots of Molle straps for adding small packs of accessory holders.
