lancetkenyon Report post Posted November 21, 2014 I have the same frame pack. Works just fine for big loads. Packed out my deer last month with it, a big bodied muley. I have also used it for packing into the Black River on the San Carlos for a week of fishing. It goes with me on all big game hunts for packing out duty. I have packed out javelina, deer, quartered elk on many occasions over the past 15+ years. By itself, the frame pack is very light when empty. But can haul 80-100# when loaded with ease. More if you are up to it.
