*** WTB 1" Ruger (m77/#1) High rings high and OFFSET (need scope little closer) would be nice

Recommended Posts

M77 / ruger no. 1 rings

So 1" NOT 30mm

I know I have some spare M77 1" rings. You are welcome to try them if you want. They are not offset though.

Have you checked with the factory on what exactly you need? I too have a 77 and when I needed rings I got one high and one medium due to how those guns are set up. If you try and use two high rings you will never get the scope sighted in. Just a suggestion in case you didn't know.

Yes I have made that mistake before! i reversed order on rings before on m77 and could not figure out what the heck was going on. :) this is a ruger no.1 and since all the action happens up top it would be nice just to have little more space. im gonna call ruger cuz 1 offset in back for more eye relief would be nice scope tub has space up front but zero aft.

Save youself the trouble and give it to me and let your problems become mine. That is just how good of a friend I am to you mike. I don't like seeing you all frustrated and upset. I can even come pick it up so that won't be a bother to you. Just saying bahahaha

Oh sorry I must have misread your original post and thought you were looking for rings for an M77. I just went through the very same thing with my Ruger No1. There is a kit Ruger recommended to me and it is essentially a picatiny rail that screws into the original screws on top of the action. It gives you more versatility on eye relieve and also give you more MOA adjustments.

That sounds like a winner!
