My Rights As An American Report post Posted November 15, 2014 Found this friendly dog in 36a on Wednesday. He was very dehydrated and hungry. Really perked up with some water and a snack. Had a collar on him and appears to be a family dog. Please help me find his home!

Snapshot Report post Posted November 15, 2014 Very nice of you to rescue and feed it. This is a link to some websites in the Tucson area for lost pets http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=4&ved=0CEIQFjAD&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tucsonlostdogs.com%2Fcontent.html&ei=YcRnVL_sGa-WigKvmYCgBA&usg=AFQjCNEz6ZS1Goe97TfmM5OYjMCpe9xWDw&bvm=bv.79142246,d.cGE&cad=rja
My Rights As An American Report post Posted November 15, 2014 He was a dead dog if I left him out there. My conscience would not let this dog die in the desert. At least he has a chance to find his family or a new life. Thanks everyone.
Coues assassin Report post Posted November 15, 2014 If the dog was originally adopted from the pound it may have a chip in it that has all the owners information. When our dog was lost someone who picked her up Took her there and they contacted us. Just an idea! Awesome that you picked him up!
My Rights As An American Report post Posted November 15, 2014 No chip. We had him checked.
muledeerarea33? Report post Posted November 15, 2014 I'd love to take him in, we take in lots of strays but funds are tight right now. Have you contacted Pima county pound, humane society in Tucson, etc. to see if someone is looking for it? We lost a 12 yr old Australian Shepard in pine top once, he was deaf and almost blind. Owned since he was a puppy. People found him and thought he was much younger since he acted like a puppy lol. They figured out his shortcomings and dumped him at the humane society in show low. That's the only reason we got him back! Put an ad in the paper and called all the local shelters. Haha! He looked like the coyote in the cage on another post when I went to bail him out. My Rights As An American Report post Posted November 23, 2014 Quick update. Nobody has reported a dog missing around Tucson matching his description. Dog is now chipped and awaiting adoption at a no-kill shelter in Cottonwood. He has been named Davis. Very friendly and enjoying a second chance at life.
My Rights As An American Report post Posted November 23, 2014 Also, he has received a few donations in his name which is supposed to make adoption fees much cheaper. Just saying.
