Cruiser.308 Report post Posted November 14, 2014 I was able to call this dog to about 20 yards. Really nice healthy male. I was going to take him with my side arm but didn't wan to spook him since he was staring directly at me. I stumbled across these traks and I never seen anything like it before, at first I thought it was a lion but then I not three claws and that got me stomped? I followed the track for about two miles till I lost it in some thick brush. Anyone have any idea what it is?

Cruiser.308 Report post Posted November 14, 2014 Thanks, originally I hd it all tan, but then I desided to change it up with black parts to help break it up a bit more. I like a two tone look.
Cruiser.308 Report post Posted November 14, 2014 Back to the traks, can anyone tell me if this is mountain lion that's trying to get extra traction in the sand?

nateNAU Report post Posted November 15, 2014 I think those three marks that look like nail marks are actually the lobes on the pad. Tracks going the other direction. Three lobes is definitely a lion.

Presmyk Report post Posted November 17, 2014 Bobcat track shows the 3 bumps on back little better. The ones in sand looks kinda sharp but hard to tell
