Took a little road trip from Tucson to Illinois. Came back here to visit some family and shoot some deer. Been spot and stalking and sitting in stands for 3 days now. I poked this buck with a sharp stick this morning at 49 yards. Still got 9 days left to hunt so hopefully I can out do this little 3x3 with a big boy in the next few days and hopefully put a few does down in the process. Slick trick 100gn standards really do a number on animals. Shot this buck with the same broadhead and arrow that I shot my bull elk with.

I read the title and thought to my self huh an eastern hunter!! Looked at your location huh not eastern! Looked at the picture back east; we'll played ha ha. My brother lives in that state near Chicago and we talked about going whitetail there, any good pointers?
