Sonof12 Report post Posted November 5, 2014 I had an hour to spare this morning so went out early to a spot I wanted to try just within the Tonto forest boundary... I called for 8 mins with Lightning Jack, threw in a Female howl, and switched back over to the Jack. She popped over a ridge about 300 yards away and headed straight to the call but disappeared in a wash. A minute or so later I saw movement to my left and she was scanning my hill and the area the call was at about 20 yards away from me right downwind from me. She quickly disappeared again and I threw on some Vole squeaks. That was too much for her and she walked right up the ridge I wanted her to within 20 yards of the call. One 50 yard shot with my .204 was all it took. Now I have to work. Bummer.
