Sucks being sick! I understand! I'm glad you found a good guy to help you out. If your in the same situation next year, just freeze quarters and cut it up at your leisure. I enjoy "playing" butcher and have got some good cuts!! Oh, they make chain miill gloves so you don't have to worry about you fingers. I'm sure you know all of this but just trying to emphasize home butchering. Hope your better soon.

Yes I did by a glove after cutting tendons. yes I will get back to cutting my own critters soon im sure of it. as for being sick I bought the bug-a-salt gun so I can have some homebound redneck fun like you on your backyard hunt.
