Now go look at the draw percentages. What are the odds of getting drawn for what you put in for? Dissapointment = reality colliding with expectations. If you put in for something that has bad draw odds - and we all did, because were talking elk, and antelope, then our expectations should be tempered accordingly. This will be directly related to the degree of dissapointment. The days of getting ticked-off about not getting drawn are over - at least for me. Mike Nicely said. You of all people are NOT aloud to get pissed.... ....... as a family (4 applicants) , how many fall permits and how many spring permits has your family drawn in the past 2 1/2 years?????? Isn't aproaching, like, 30 or more antelope, elk, deer, pig, and turkey permits in three Springs and two Falls????? No Whining, crying, sniveling, moaning, or Bee-oching!!!!!!!! 111 Report post Posted March 13, 2007 If they are charging cards like the web site says, or (processing the money), it's really hard to believe it will take until the 16th of next month like stated on the website. Last year it took them 3.5 business days wed, thur, fri, weekend, 1/2 Monday, to process funds and release draw results for all species. They were receiving tons of phone calls because they released draw results later than they ever have. I have a feeling this two month process is to slow the calling down, and make it attainable to release results ahead of schueldule. Then they think they are hard working individuals... Then they think they are hard working individuals... 111- I agree 100%. Its just a guessing game but it sure keeps me on the edge of my seat. There is some people I know that just don't get excited as much as I do about anticipating the draw and thats their perogative But with that said I LOVE the mental torture I get while waiting. I'm banking on the cards being hit tonight and showing up on my online statement after midnight. But you never know it could be next week. GOTTA LOVE IT. KGAINES Report post Posted March 13, 2007 sci-nevada was used up until last year and then it was some group from tennesee, I don't know who did it this year since it was reported that azgfd fired the tennessee group, and there was not supposed to be any online apps for a year to a year and a half according to azgfd, but someone must have made a heck of an offer or game and fish noticed a very low rate for the paper apps so they had to do something to make it up. Who knows who is doing it, but next year maye we can get a group together and volunteer our services to ensure that the apps get ran through the draw correctly. When I went to the AZGFD open house a few months ago, they said the same company is doing it this year that did it last. They "promised" that they had worked out all of the issues. I don't know if I would trust them. Let's all just keep our fingers crossed that we get charged on our card only once. They had a problem with that last year. Good luck everyone.
