Scoring question

I posted this reply to your same question on our Facebook page....I am copying and pasting what I wrote there:

 

It depends on if the two points form what Boone and Crockett calls "common base points" .....if the cross section of the base is clearly a figure 8, then they are common base points....if they are common base points and occur only on one antler then they are measured from tip to main beam....if they don't form a clear figure 8 at base, then they are not common base points and one gets measured to beam and one measured as a branch of the other

Looking at it, I think they are not common base points and so one would be scored as a branch off the other. It looks almost identical to the first coues buck I ever shot!

I would say that is a 3x3 with a forked G2, but I am no professional and that is just my thoughts based on a picture. Either way that is an awesome buck, congrats.
