DCS Report post Posted June 3, 2015 I slept in a hammock for a year in the bush in Vietnam,had a hard time for the first couple of weeks at home in a bed.The hammock was a lot better than an air mattress,as the leeches,and snakes couldn't reach you.A hammock is fine as long as it is fairly warm,if it is very cold you will freeze to death.Not enough insulation between you and the air.Cliff Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
