I just accepted a job offer with a plumbing company in Snowflake Az. Probably start in the next couple of weeks. Other than two years in Pennsylvania on a Mormon mission Ive never lived anywhere but Mesa, born and raised. Kind of scary but I know many people move all of the time.

Driving back home tonight right before dark I was coming down off the rim and passed a herd of about 15 elk feeding on the side of the road and then a couple mule deer a few minutes later, made me feel better.

You are fortunate to be able to get out of this crap hole.

I second that. I can't wait for the day to get out of here too. As a matter of fact, my wife and I are considering Snowflake/Taylor as well. Good luck on the move.

Just wondered if that new anti-hog raisin thing will shut down the hog farm in Snowflake. There is only a few places on earth I would lose my cornflakes driving down the highway.

I dont have any employees and the few contractors that I have left I can pass on to some friends that are plumbers. I will be going back and forth for a few months to finish up some of the houses I have partially completed here in the valley. But I will put my license on hold with the Registrar of Contractors and then I have up to five years to reinstate it without retesting.

Good luck on your moove! You might think about running your own Co. in Snow Flake. They seem to need new and more plumbers in that area. I run a plumbing Co. in Flag and several people/contractors have asked me to work in the Snow Flake area. Big and small jobs. Maybe I could hire you to run them for me? Maybe we should talk?

Plumbing on the Mtn. is a little different than in Mesa but a RM should catch on fast. And when that vally smog starts to clear out of your system who knows what you will be able to do? ;)

Lance

PS. CTR!

hahahaha. he said snowflake. when i lived in springertown we useta always say that if they give the earth an enema, they'll stick the hose in snowflake. did ya hear about the big snowflake earthquake of '47? levelled half the town and did $4 million in improvement. i heard once the only reason they built snowflake was so holbrook would have somebody to make fun of. ok, ok, i'm just funnin'. ya hafta sorta like a town that's only suburb is called bellybutton. one thing about it, you're movin' at the right time o' year. if you can make one spring with them 100+ mph winds, you might stay. but you can always say "it ain't the wind blowin', it just taylor suckin'". dang, no wonder they run me outta that country..........Lark.
