The quality of the hunt is determined by a lot more than just the number and size of the bucks. I usually go through an entire hunt without ever laying eyes on another hunter. Just the way I like it! Good luck! Obviously not me huh? 3 things: 1. "Quality" for me is determined by effort and the experience, not a tape measure. 2. I've already shot a couple book deer with my bow. 3. I see p&y caliber deer dang near every year. The point I was trying to make is that theres plenty of good hunting where you dont have to deal with this crap that he experienced. I guess since your glassing the canyon you own it now? If the buck was 300 yards you should have shot or passed but to be mad because someone else shot is stupid..
