He was a legend in Arizona for his work with bird dogs and bringing competitive bird dog trials to the state of AZ. He founded the Arizona Bird Dog Club, Desert and Southern Arizona German Shorthaired Pointer Clubs, NGSPA Region 12 Association, and the National Chukar Association. In 2009 he was inducted into the Bird Dog Association Hall of Fame. Besides his work with the bird dog community, he was the most amazing father, grandfather, and overall human being.
