Don't wear on all occasions but probably should. Deer are color blind and only see contrast in color. If your stalking an animal I wouldn't wear it. But walking to a glassing spot or after your kill I would say YES! Been shot at a few times personally.

deer are color blind... lol!

they do have limited color vision but are not totally color blind they just see different than we do

rather than me sounding stupid you can read this article........

really interesting that they don't have an ultraviolet filter as we do.

I suppose I should of worded it different. If your wearing a color that isn't close to what nature has provided in your hunting area then the contrast will make you stick out like a sore thumb. Not saying to wear high dollar camo, or even camo at all. Just browns and greens that sorta blend in.

Is it just me oram I the only one who thinks the need for orange is so sad I don't even know how to explain it? I know there are less than bright hunters around but come on are you telling me that there is a need to post to all visitors to the public forest lands during hunting season that they better not blend in or they may be shot? With 5000. Dollar optics and 1000. Dollar optics on every knob and ridge that I better not take my mules on a rifle hunt come on really? Are we really just pulling gunslinger Draws off the hip at deer and elk when something stirs in the brush? I own no orange and if someone takes a shot at me they better be ready for 1000 lbs plus of mule and guns barring down on them if they can't tell the difference!
