bowsniper Report post Posted October 15, 2014 Not asking for spots. I was wondering if very many ducks have reached the Flagstaff area yet, making it worth the 2.5 hour drive for me. Thanks, Mark
thegunsmith2506 Report post Posted October 15, 2014 I am starting to see a few here in the Prescott area. Not too many though. Not sure about Flagstaff.
Guest akaspecials Report post Posted October 15, 2014 Have not seen the birds yet in the Phoenix area. I am avid waterfowler and will not be out there on opening day of the desert zone, not worth my time or gas till it cools down more up north. I was in shorts and a t shirt in Canada last week....... bowsniper Report post Posted October 20, 2014 Well, my son and I made the drive to Flag and spent the day jumping tanks. We just couldn't stay away. We probably jumped 20 tanks and saw 100's (maybe 1000?) of ducks. The only problem was that they were ALL at Ashurst Lake where you can't hunt. But we had fun! Havasuhunter Report post Posted October 20, 2014 None at Havasu when I left. Weather still nice and warm up here in Northern UT. WY and MT got a little snow, but nothing major. Probably need a good pacific storm before we see any migration.
