muledeerarea33? Report post Posted October 13, 2014 The one you can see out of best. My crappy eye balls keep me above the $600 range. I have friends with better eyeballs that do good in the $300 range. Only thing I will say is that heat waves suck on cheaper glass!

KeithV Report post Posted October 13, 2014 For that price range you have a lot of room i have 2 really nice leupolds a vari x 3 6.5 to 20 with target knobs that is awesome and a vari x 2 6 to 18 with target knobs . the vari x 3 is around 900 and the 2 is 550 i love both of them. that new nightforce shv has some really cool features,I dont think you would go wrong with any of those three and you got other options for what you have to spend. willhunt4coues Report post Posted October 13, 2014 Sightron would be at the top of the best for under 1000.00. They have over 100 moa of adjustments and 80 moa of elevation on FFP scopes. I have tested SIII scopes (sightron) against some night force 2000 scopes, Valdada, Leupold, Vortex, ect and the sightron scopes have 99.989% tracking which means they are a true moa tracking scope. Night force had 96%, Valdada 98%, vortex 96%, Leupold 97%. SIII scopes have some great optics (night force and vortex being the worst) and Valdada being the best with schott HD glass. So if you want a true tracking, 100 moa elevation, great optics, lifetime warranty and in house customization look at the Sightron SIII scopes. They are way under priced scopes.
