6ANut Report post Posted October 11, 2014 I am installing a new ceiling fan and have to replace the bracket that screws into the wall. I have one screw I can not get out of the wood stud. Any help would be awesome on how to get the screw out. it is not stripped yet but getting there. The baby is due in a week or so and mama bear is getting pissy about the eye sore in the princess room. Also if I can't get it removed then I will need a north phx handy man if anyone has a good recommendation.

muledeerarea33? Report post Posted October 11, 2014 I wouldn't put a ceiling fan on the wall, find a place on the ceiling for goodness sake! Ha! Vice grips, or the 3-4 sided screw extractors work good.
