5guyshunting Report post Posted September 28, 2014 My wife has a walther ppks 380 1.5 pounds. She takes it sometimes. The ruger is 12-13 oz. I think she may like the ruger better. Any reviews? Thankyou.
carpcody Report post Posted September 29, 2014 I have one for my wife and she likes it. The lighter the the better I think, because then she will keep it with her more rather than thinking her purse is heavy and take it out. I like it as well because it fits nicely in my pocket and also I can carry it very well in my boot. Only thing I'm not crazy about is the loooong trigger pull. But you get used to it.

The trigger pull I read, thanks fo conformation. The wheight factor is the selling point for me, I think she will carry more often. Thankyou sir
singleshot Report post Posted September 29, 2014 I carry one and bought one each for my two youngest daughters. They carry it because it is compact and light, fits well wherever. A 380 in the hand is better than a 12 gauge in the truck if you need it. Trigger pull sucks but take the good with the bad.

Will K Report post Posted September 29, 2014 SIG SAUER P238 SAS
Guest wdenike Report post Posted September 29, 2014 SIG SAUER P238 SAS They're all nice the wife and all four girls got them. The rainbow, there is a pink colored, and I can't remember the others. But the main thing is they are light, and the triggers are decent. But more important they don't leave home with out them. That's the main thing. Take care, Willie
Hoss50 Report post Posted September 29, 2014 My wife and I both have a Keltec P32. She has arthritis in her wrist so the P3AT Keltec was to much for her wrist. A good buddy has the LCP and likes it too. I would love the SIG 938 in 9mm though, but the price is more than I can afford right now.
naturegirl Report post Posted September 29, 2014 I would not buy this gun for any female in family, including my 19-year-old daughter. I know two women personally who are not overly fond of the gun. Yes it is super easy to carry. I can't argue that one at all, but the mechanics of the gun are tough for female hands. My 2 cents.

DCS Report post Posted September 29, 2014 I have been carring this gun since the Aurora shootings. It's small enough that I always have it.I killed a 3 year old female lion with it last Dec while cutting Christmas trees on the ranch.I would take my 45 if I knew I was going to a gunfight, but I always have my 380. khmer6 Report post Posted September 29, 2014 What about a pf9?similar price and weight, trigger might be better. Maybe she can dry fire the two and compare. Personally I like full size but I know most don't like to carry something so big or even sub compact glocks. A g26 or g27 would be nice but still a bit heavy and,fat for her I would assume. naturegirl Report post Posted September 30, 2014 I'm going to add a little more.. I know 4 people who own this gun. Two men liked the girls' LCPs so much that they bought their own. The men love the gun and the women like I said are not fond of it. It's not that it's not doable, but there must be better. I'm looking into the Springfield 3.3" XD-S single stack .45 for myself. Not decided for sure, but it interests me. PS - Maybe you should let her pick out a new purse (Gun Toten Mamas) has some good ones. Pricey, yes, but many have the capability of locking if you have little ones. A purse meant for a gun may help her carry more.
