.270 Report post Posted March 19, 2007 an old game warden with lotsa wisdom and experience once told me that it was really odd that most folks shoot a lion on the same day they buy a tag. i believe that if it was ok to retroactively buy a lion tag, like after ya shoot one, the azgfd would sell more lion tags.
