Found dead bull in 4b

Recommended Posts

Not really that big of a stretch. I know atleast 2 were found last year because of this site. It's actually pretty common. You can keep trying to justify your preposterous personal vendetta against this guy but it's clearly not genuine.

You are a good dude, I know you have jumped in to help other members on this site and gone above and beyond in doing so. But, I have grown weary of you two griping at each other like a couple of bickering adolescents all over otherwise beneficial threads. I have ignored many threads that should have been readable because of you clowns. I am tired of it.

I will try my jr. high psychology....maybe next time try to PM the guy and tell him all he is doing wrong instead of here on the open forum that way it doesn't make you look like the bad guy with a badge.....just a thought, there are a lot of people who have posted trying to help hunters find their animals, they could just not say anything to anybody............and like all good psychologist I didn't follow my own advise, I shoulda PM'd you with my idea......

If all else fails and the two can't stop arguing, then there is a wonderful option that Amanda put into CWT that allows you to block users. I personally have used this on one occasion because I found myself getting too flustered with someone else's antics. You know who you are :)

I come here for hunting knowledge - not the other stuff, but even saying that it's hard sometimes to sit quiet and not respond, but in the end I usually feel better NOT getting into a typing match with someone I don't even know.

Finding the owner of the bull is what is important at this point - however that happens is good in my book.

Not every lost bull is because people don't practice or don't take good shots. Sometimes it happens no matter how prepared you are just like it did to me.

I'm a little confused by this Comment flatlander. I have no Idea who this guy is and from what I can remember I haven't had any arguments with him on this site in the past. I have argued with plenty of people but not this guy so not sure where you came up with how you're getting sick of me always bickering with him. I posted that I found a dead bull obviously killed during the archery season. These kinds of posts are put up every year without so much as one complaint. The second I try and help someone find a bull this dude comes out of nowhere and throws a little girl fit and cries about it. If you are gonna comment about me please don't lie and say I'm always arguing with this guy and how you're becoming weary of us always bickering with each other. I realize a lot of you don't like me or my comments but seriously? I'm just trying to help someone find an elk. Do I have your permission to do so? I wouldn't wanna hurt someone else's feelings by helping a guy find his bull and then defending myself against some crazy random dude that has something against me for a reason unknown to myself.

Wtf is going on in this thread, how did I miss this? Why is out2hunt so russled up over someone saying they found a dead bull? No good deed goes unpunished I guess.

Haha barely getting in on this? You missed all kinds of crazy. Not sure it's worth your time reading back through everything but yeah pretty much out2hunt is throwing a B-fit that I posted this trying to help a guy find his dead bull. I can't win here! Haha claims I'm breaking the law and teaching his kid the wrong way to do things and somehow I'm doing this for my own benefit. But don't miss the part about where he makes sure to teach his kids not to litter and not shoot bobcats off of logs off the road and other random things that have nothing to do with this topic. It's kinda gone every direction except the way I thought it would. But what can you do?

Is that all a tag is good for? Antlers? I always thought g&f issued tags for the meat. In fact it is a crime to waste meat and harvest just antlers.

so what do you want him to do just leave it all together?
what do the regulations say?

It's illegal to chop off antlers and leave a rotting corpse. Regs are free at walmart.

I think what BC777 is trying to do is a good thing but here is a side of it that no one has brought up yet and that is insurance bulls. This happens every year and more than most would like to admit too. An insurance bull is where someone shoots a decent bull, leaves in in hopes of killing a bigger one then coming back later in the hunt to claim it as if they looked for it the entire time. As the good sportsmen you all are I know its a hard thing to swallow that extra bulls get killed for no reason but I promise you it happens. the only way I can see it from being prevented is someone taking that bull out of the field (has to be gf by law) which will prevent a person from coming back and picking it up. I'm not a fan of gf selling all these antlers that someone can prove they shot and looked for but the best thing I can come up with is if someone shoots a bull, cant find it within the day they should call gf in case someone else does find it before they do. In my mind if I wounded a bull, told the local game "worden" where and when and that bull turns up, I have every right to it. Now if gf decides to keep it i'll fight em for it but it seems like a better option than possibly allowing insurance bulls to lay out there.

ive never had to do it, but i would. better than just letting azgfd get it or just leaving it there and let someone else take it. and better than going and shooting another fresh one i would say too.

Happens all the time by scumbag hunters. I've heard it called scoring on the ground. They don't like it so they keep hunting
