When the dog chews on your mount, have it fixed(the mount)

a customer's dog had gotten on the couch and chewed this mount up. We can usually repair or remount almost any damage.

I guess he had it at the end of a couch. the dog climbed up on the couch and stood there and chewed until he had his fill.

Can you redo a mount using the same hide?

jim, it all depends on how old and who tanned it originally. bring it in and I can look at it.

Exactly my thought. The mount looks great but how would it be possible to repair that?

Tracy, this one was a remount, but we have replaced a lot of ears before. one time we even replaced the upper eye lid and eye lashes on a buffalo. I wanted to show people that if the worst happens don't despair, there are always options.
