In the loss of habitat I agree with all that everyone has said, plus we have people that are closing gates that allow access to public lands. Some are doing it just because they can, others because of damaged property, the shooting of livestock, or tearing up the roads, and no matter who is really doing these things the hunters are blamed and pay the price. Oh and lets not forget the person that was passing off forged money that closed her gate bacause her son is a child molestor, but hey everyone has their reasons.

Climate change!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went to an old standby spot not to far from Rio Rico and almost all of the oak trees were dead from drought and no deer. There is always deer in this area but are now gone. No place to hide

Bull, Are you calling me an AL Gore extremist? Thems fightin words. I not getting the carp hunter thing but let me see if I can get you to pull your head out. We have been in a drought situation for a few years now and most people predict it will continue. Take a drive in one of our pine forests, not one of the ones that already been wiped out by fire, but one that has trees. Take a close look at the number of brown trees you see being wiped out by bark beetle. Many of the oak trees down south in coues country are dying of lack of water. This is a true loss of habitat. This is not a political position, but a fact.

Drought is without a doubt a big problem, but I look at some things different up here in the

high country different than you guys down with the illegals. So it varies where you live..

But the amount of tags given out along with the year long hunting pressure doesnt help matters at all.
