Beware in 13 years in my house I just caught first rattler for my street.. snakeys get moved in rain. mojave on my street by where kids were playing 1 hour earlier.. NOT COOL! i have caught many by Sandra Day Oconnor high school but this is 1st venomous snake for my street. I 17 & dynamite

Yep just after I said on another post I dont mess with them anymore.. I figured since he came out of neighbors yard and crossed frontage rd to be met by 40ft tall wall that I best kill him since he had nowhere to go but back in a yard.

I don't go looking for the things but, if I find one I will walk 10 miles out of my way to find a rock big enough to kill it . Especially when kids are around. Thanks for taking care of it.

I remember back in the crazy kid days down in southern New Mexico we would go out after big storms like this just looking for big rattlers they would be cold and very passive initially. Back when we knew everything........
