Thank you all for the wonderful feed back! This truly was one of the hardest hunts, with all of the hours spent in the blind. But persistence does pay off, so if anyone ever feels like giving up, DON"T!!! Its a huge accomplishment and an amazing lesson for my kids, who cheered me on every step of the way!

But persistence does pay off, so if anyone ever feels like giving up, DON"T!!! Its a huge accomplishment and an amazing lesson for my kids, who cheered me on every step of the way!

 

Sounds like you've already learned the most important lesson any bowhunter can learn: even a great deer spot sometimes takes a few days to produce! Thats the difference between being a bowhunter and a bow hiker. Keep hunting like that and you'll be putting lots of heads on the wall and meat in the freezer.
