Ist trail cam experience in unit 1

Recommended Posts

My wife got me a camera for Christmas two years ago. I finally put it out. I had it out for 9 weeks and got 1596 pics with maybe 50 blanks. I had it set up for three shot bursts with a one minute delay. What do you think?

Wow! Impressive! What a nice variety! Unit 1 is my favorite unit. Hard to find an area for camera without cattle. What did you put on the ground to attract such variety but didn't attract the cattle?

although salt is a much sought after mineral for most wildlife - its essential not to get too carried away with what you put out for them. and the how much you put out

that's why they came out with trace mineral salt - 7 or 8 different minerals added to salt to supplement minerals that will be helpful to the animals diet . including iodine - all these should be taken in very small amounts for a healthy diet.

that's why they call it trace mineral salt only very small amounts are added to the salt!!

be careful what you are put out is helping and not hurting the animals

I think that you should let me hunt that area first, just to be sure you indeed have a good spot. ; ) Just kidding. The pics look great. Love the bear. Do you have a tag for the area?

You Can hunt there, its national forest, I don't own it. Yes I have an early bull muzzy tag in a couple weeks. Probably not hunting there.
