Killed a lot of deer with it over the years, but it's a duplicate gun for me and I don't need it as much as I need the space in my cabinet. $225.00 For pictures check Tucson Backpage under 30-06. biglakejake Report post Posted September 6, 2014 i do believe this rifle is built on a commercial mauser model 98 action mfg in the 1950's for the american market-wards, sears, western auto, fed mart and others. the same action as or similar to the first weatherbys. this is a jewel you can build on and definitely not a toad. i will email to my son as i am not able to make a purchase at this time. better pic maybe? grandfather killed a bunch of deer up around skull valley in the 50's 'n 60's with the montgomery wards version of this rifle. good luck, lee Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
