Best electronic scale for reloading?

Recommended Posts

My brother and I are looking for a new scale. The one we have isn't giving is accurate readings. What electronic scale do you use? Best bang for my buck? We have everything else just looking for a good scale.

RCBS chargemaster 1500. Great scale but any electronic scale is going to vary slightly. I have nothing but good things to say about this one though

Been using an RCBS Charge Master for about 15 years in conjunction with an RCBS Powder Master dispenser. Sent the dispenser back for a checkup and upgrade about three years ago (primarily for the upgrade, which dispenses weighed charges of powder charges much faster). The scale has been reliable and trouble-free. Even when I throw charges for my .223 from the Redding powder measure, I weigh every tenth one on the RCBS scale--it's quick and accurate.

Yeah but that's the same issue with my beam scale as well and it is a lot slower...

I have a Dillon electric that has served me well for a long time, and it's PO before that.

My PACT is identical to my RCBS other than the color. Had the R for many years and finally had to replace it. Purchased a PACT after some buds vouched for it. It's the same thing only Grey in color. Works like a champ.

Acculab is a great scale so is the gem pro 250. But the most accurate scale on the market is an analytical sartorius entries 64-1S. It is truley the best of the best for .001 accuracy when reloading. Even though a granulate of powder weighs .02 to .03. It measure as you drop. I have the charge master 1500 plus double check on my gempro 250 so I can obtain that .02 check. I will be up grading soon to the analytical.
