buffhunter Report post Posted September 4, 2014 I sure am reading this thread elkaddict. Why do I need a umbrella for? Don't you have a roof on that porch of yours? I had planned on sleeping in and sitting in a rocking chair waiting for that lily eating bull that's been eating out of your garden. I even have a pallet of lily flats ready for the bait site to keep his attention. Ill be sitting at the other cabin that bull has been hitting!!!!!! With good breakfast and cold beer in the afternoon!!!!! I think I can manage a 10 yard shot with a good buzz.......lmao

AZHNTR67 Report post Posted September 6, 2014 Last year I was in 7W and yes it was a slopfest!! Ton of rain and everyone was saying to stay away from stands/tanks. Elk are creatures of habit. Shot a 345" second day at 5pm on a tank. Stick with it!
