frank175 Report post Posted February 15, 2007 Looking for any info on unit 24, looks like a non res might stand a chance at a coues tag there. Can't get enough of those grey ghosts. Not looking for anyones honey hole just some info if it's worth a try and what kind of bucks one might have a chance at there. Whats the country like, glassable, or alot of heavy cover? Kevin Report post Posted February 15, 2007 Much of 24 is very thick brush. There are some areas where glassing is possible, but nothing like most of Southern AZ. Most of the unit is above 6500 feet so junipers to fir as far as trees go. Get a hold of Tommy (crazyaboutcoues) if your really serious about hunting it. He seems to know it well and has a scouting service.

Dan H Report post Posted February 16, 2007 Backpack into 24b. There are some brutes back in this unit. You just need to go in quite a few miles. If you draw the Dec WT let me know I pack in there every year right around x-mas tag or no tag. And maybe I will finally have a tag this year also. If not your welcome to come along. 10 miles to base camp. I may have some shed photos posted here in April I plan on going into find from bucks I saw this past Dec.
