Online Auction benefiting the kids at PCH

Recommended Posts

CWT Community-

A couple of weeks ago I posted about the annual event my wife and I put on each September in memory of our son Easton. I'll post a link to that page below if you are interested in more information about the general event. 100% of the proceeds will go to buying toys for and helping with the needs of the children at Phoenix Children's Hospital.

Yesterday we began the online auction portion of the event that will go until 09/20/14 at 6:00 PM PST. There are lots of great items up for bid including a bow package, ASU/UCLA football tickets, a Calais Campbell signed football, and much more. Please feel free to check out the items and place a bid. You can also PM me with any questions that aren't covered on the auction page. Feel free to like, follow, and share this with friends and family. It is for a fantastic cause!

I received a question about the bow package in the auction, that I thought best to answer it here. It is a camo RH Diamond Infinite Edge NIB Bow package. This also includes a NIB Scott Wolverine release and a set up from Bass Pro.

Thanks

Do you take toy donations? And if so, where could we send them. That must be one of the toughest things of all losing a little guy like that, awesome for you to remember him through such a charitable cause.

We would love toy donations. Because of the compromised immune systems of many of these children, the hospital requires that any toys be in their new unopened packaging. If you live in the valley I would be happy to meet you somewhere, or if you would like to ship something I can PM you my address. We also have people sending money for the purchase of toys to a PayPal account set up for it. Lastly, any items that could be used in raffles or auctions would also be very welcomed. We have the tax ID information and approval letter from the Phoenix Children's Hospital Foundation for any straight donations. It cannot be used for item someone purchases at auction or through the raffles.

Thanks!

If there is one deserving place to donate, it is the Phoenix Children's Hospital. I've spent the better part of a year there on an almost daily basis with our granddaughter. The folks there are truly amazing people and their dedication is without question. If you ever wonder where you might donate your time or treasure, think of PCH. Don't take my word for it. Go wander around on the different floors and look at the challenges these kids face and then put your kids in their place. I watched a dr massage a little girl's heart for over an hour until they could kick start it again. It was such an emergency they couldn't get her to the OR and had to do it in her room behind big glass windows for all to see. They brought Lark back from being flatlined time and again and now she is as happy and healthy as any other 4 year old and has a wonderful future ahead of her. It wouldn't be that way without PCH. The dr who saved the girl with the open chest heart massage was named Pearl. The little girl was adopted from china by an amazing couple. Her new American name is now Pearl. This is a truly wonderful organization staffed with some of the very best people I've ever met. Lark.
