sjvcon Report post Posted September 6, 2014 At first I was pretty jacked on the idea of building one. The more I read, the more I think I am better off with a 6.5 that eats less powder. I'll change my mind again tomorrow I am sure.
azslim Report post Posted September 6, 2014 speaking with a guy in Washington state last month and he said a couple of his friends have this rifle and at max velocity the accuracy isn't there, back off the velocity for accuracy and it isn't much faster than the 6.5x284 not my story so have nothing to say pro or con on this, just sharing info that was shared with me
Big or Bust Report post Posted September 6, 2014 For me in 6.5, something with 50-60 grains of capacity shooting a 140 at 3K is about perfect for a hunting cartridge - If I need more, I'll step up to a large capacity 7... I'll pass on the 26 Nosler -
