daryl_s Report post Posted February 10, 2007 My dad filled his 2007 HAM tag in unit 23 this morning at 11:45 AM. He spotted the pigs and set up as they were bedding down. One shot with his Thompson Contender in .223 from 132 yards did the trick. He spent a ton of time getting the best handload and fine tuning it. The TC has a fixed 2x scope and he built a rest to set up on his tripod. He spent a lot of time at the range and out scouting and it paid off.
