So I just purchased this gun from a friend on here and it is a model 70 shadow we shot some factory ammo in it and was disappointed that it didn't do better to say the least. That cartridge needs to go on a diet. Fat little guy. It's like a 6mm bench rest on steroids.

It is short and fat just like me haha and my daughter will see how it works on deer I am sure it will surpass her shooting limits

I have an ar chambered in the wssm and it really likes RL-17 and 87 grain vmax. I'm getting ready to work up a load using the Barnes 85 grain tsx for an upcoming deer hunt. David
